Independent fan sites for sport and music
I'm Richard, an Irish fan living in Skåne. I build the sites I want to use on match day or when I'm looking up a Dylan setlist.
The sites

How they're built
Same pattern for every site: small, cheap to run, and deploys itself on every push.
| Layer | Choice | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Pages | Static HTML and Hugo | Loads instantly, nothing to patch |
| Hosting | Cloudflare Workers | Global edge, custom domains, free tier covers it |
| Live data | Worker proxy with KV cache | API keys stay server-side; one fetch serves everyone |
| Sources | Sports data APIs, Wikipedia | Fixtures and results live; history built into JSON |
| Deploys | GitHub → Workers Builds | Push to main and it's live in about a minute |
| Design | One system, per-site colour | Grey ground, white cards, light and dark |
| Build partner | Claude Code | Pair-programmed end to end |
About
I'm Irish, living in Skåne in the south of Sweden. By day I run technology and digital for an international business; these sites are where I build for fun: United since childhood, Limerick in the blood, Ireland whatever the sport, and Dylan on the stereo.
